Finornic Chemicals (I) Pvt. Ltd.
was promoted & formed in the year 1991 by Mr. D. R. Shah & Dr. R.
Subramanian.
- It has a well
set up R & D & Kilo-Lab at Ankleshwar,
Gujarat, India. A small R & D
lab is also established in Mumbai to conduct preliminary studies &
experiments on gram scale level of synthesis.
- The manufacturing facility
located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat
is equipped with various multipurpose & dedicated reactors to
conduct low, high temperature & pressure reactions. The QA Lab
contains the essential requirements for testing of materials and
monitoring of product Quality.
- The company has focused &
gained strength in the area of & Heterocyclic chemistry. R & D
has developed many intermediates in Benzimidazole
series which are the key building blocks for anti-ulcer Drugs like Lanzoprazole, Rabeprazole,
Pantaprozole & Omeprazole. It is well known that Imidazole & Benzimidazole
are molecules of wide interest & importance especially with reference
to their pharmaceutical applications.
- The strong
theoretical organic chemistry academic background & industrial
experience has helped the company not only in Development of Imidazole chemistry but to move into other
branches thereby gaining considerable footage in Custom Synthesis of
molecules & Contract Research.

molecules required in gm to kilo to multi kilo level.
